. .... Errata Page The First Five Years Several mistakes crept into the answer keys for some of the individual tests in this compilation of past Mandelbrot tests. We are very grateful to Linda Burks for pointing out the following corrections. 1991-92 Round Three #1 (page 35): the answer should be sqrt(a(a+b+c)/bc). 1991-92 Round Three #5 (page 35): the answer should be 1/2. 1992-93 Round One #8 (page 57): the answer should be sqrt(130)/2. 1992-93 Round Four #7 (page 57): the answer should be 8*sqrt(114)/5. 1993-94 Round Two #2 (page 81): the answer should be 2^(3^4). 1993-94 Round Three #7 (page 81): the answer should be 11.
