	Competition Dates
	The schedule for the upcoming Mandelbrot Competition has now been finalized and appears below. (The Mandelbrot Team Play is not currently being offered.) .. The 2018-19 Mandelbrot Competition Round Contest window Results posted One Oct 1 to Oct 7 Oct 10 Two Oct 29 to Nov 4 Nov 7 Three Dec 3 to Dec 9 Dec 12 Four Jan 28 to Feb 3 Feb 6 Five Feb 25 to Mar 3 Mar 6   Contest registration opens   August 15         Registration deadline   Sept 28, 2018             The school coordinator administers the contest at any convenient time during the contest window, then retains all testing materials until that weekend. On Thursday solutions become accessible to school coordinators via their account. The coordinator grades tests and enters scores for each student at the web site. If a school has a conflict with one of the testing weeks, we ask coordinators to reschedule the contest for the week just before the regular week and contact us to obtain testing materials early. Proctors should retain all contests and students should refrain from discussing the problems until the Sunday following the official testing week.
